Momentum was the previous and original name of this highly acclaimed physical theatre company based in Liverpool. In 2009 they renamed their company Tmesis Theatre. 

Claire attended and sketched the rehearsals for their new production ‘Anima’ in the period Nov 2007 to Feb 2008. Their original and innovative style combines the art of movement/dance with a comic/tragic style of acting. Claire developed the drawings made in the rehearsals to produce this series of Paintings, exploring the tension between the performers, the movement, their energy and emotion.
